PASTOR WILSON
The NCM team has been privileged to work with Pastor Wilson from Kenya. He is from another region of Kenya but God called him to the desert when he was when he was a teenager. Twice while in Lokore the villagers have beat and left him to die. He has remained committed to the Turkana people and God has spared his life many times. Once in 2005 while traveling 50 KMS in the desert by foot, he was bitten by a poisonous snake, the villagers came and asked him to leave the village because they did not want a stranger to die in their community. This snake can kill a full-grown camel in 2 hours, but God had other plans, not only did God spare his life, Wilson was able to lead a whole village to Christ including the witch doctors and today there is a church in that village. Pastor Wilson‘s heart is to reach as many of these tribal nomadic people as possible. He currently travels into the desert with a solar paneled backpack that he uses to show the Jesus film and share God’s love with these unreached people. He is sold out and has God’s heart for the people. He is the man on the ground every day reaching the lost with the message of the love of Jesus
